Armed robbers attack Beryllium in van Portmore

Criminals robbed a Beryllium van in Portmore, St Catherine, this morning.

According to the Jamaica Gleaner, a van belonging to security company Beryllium has been attacked by gunmen in Braeton Parkway, Portmore, St Catherine. The robbery happened in the vicinity of Scotiabank Sovereign Portmore. It’s confirmed that at least two security guards were shot and injured.

In the video you can hear shots rang out in broad daylight between the lawmen and criminals.

The police found abandoned vehicles they believed to have been used in the robbery. This is the latest of many bank robberies that have been happening across Jamaica. Jamaica Live understand that criminals have now turned inward since overseas scamming has dried up
