Dalton Harris talks about being suicidal and his possible sexuality

Digicel Rising Stars and X-Factor winner Dalton Harris have fans worried when he tweeted about wanting to take his life.On October 15, Harris tweeted to fans explaining why he did not take his life today. He wrote,
“I had a deep realization last night. The only reason I didn’t take my life today is because I spoke with GOD and I decided to make the biggest change I will ever make in my life. I want to live my life not running away from pain inflicted on me or the pain I inflict on anyone”.

In the same set of tweets he posted a pansexual flag. This brought many to assume he is coming out as pansexual. The term pansexual refers to no limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity.

He wrote, “I am who I am”, “To the boys with fragile egos, I am a TOP to you and your girlfriend. Or non-binary partner”.

There were a lot of support for Harris on Twitter. Many fans praying for him while another telling him to seek professional mental healthcare.

There were a lot of well wishers, some encouraging him, while others wishing him the best.

Harris, has longed been troubled with a difficult life and setbacks. Jamaica Live reported on his life story.

Nevertheless, he persevered through it all and won the 2018 UK X-Factor.

Dalton Harris’ sexuality has always been a topic of discussion. In December 2018, a photo of a male contestant on the X-Factor sitting and Harris’ lap led many Jamaicans to label him as gay. Harris came out and address the situation, Dalton respond to critics, when I was a nobody, no one cares.
