According to Redfish, following Barbados’ removal of Queen Elizabeth II as head of state, Prince William and Kate are touring the Caribbean to do damage control. Nevertheless, the official report is that the Duke and Duchess tour to Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas is in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
A coalition of Jamaican politicians, business leaders, doctors and musicians have signed an open letter demanding an apology from the British monarchy for colonialism and to pay slavery reparations.
