Registered Nurse Claim To Have Gotten Bell Palsy After COVID-19 Vaccine

A woman claim to be a registered nurse have been making rounds on social media. The video which have now been censored and removed from Twitter warned against the COVID-19 vaccine.

In the video the woman identified herself as Khalilah Mitchell who is a registered nurse from Nashville Tennessee.  She stated that after the shot she felt fine but three days later she developed Bell Palsy. She begged people not to take the vaccine.

We cannot confirm the credibility of the video or when the video was posted on social media. We also cannot confirm if the woman is a registered nurse.

Nevertheless, this is not the first report of Bell Palsy from the vaccine,

A report published by Jamaica Live, indicated that four people who got Pfizer‘s coronavirus vaccine in the firm’s trial developed Bell’s palsy, a form of temporary facial paralysis, according to U.S. regulators’ report on the shot.

Among the four people who developed Bell’s palsy after taking the vaccine during the Trial, one saw facial paralysis or weakness within three days after they received the shot.

But the participant’s face returned to normal about three days after that.

A second person developed Bell’s palsy nine days after receiving the shot, and the others’ faces grew weak 37 and 48 days after vaccination, respectively.

The vaccine now under scrutiny as CNBC published an article reporting under the PREP Act, companies like Pfizer and Moderna have total immunity from liability if something unintentionally goes wrong with their vaccines.
