Jamaica Constabulary Force Showcases a New Era of Policing at the Transformations Expo 2.0

Today is the Day! JCF Transformation Expo 2.0 Officially Kicks Off in Kingston and Montego Bay

The highly anticipated Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Transformations: People, Quality & Technology Expo 2.0 officially kicks off today, promising four days of innovation, interaction, and inspiration.

The Expo is being held simultaneously at the National Arena in Kingston and the Montego Bay Community College in St. James. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. each day, and the event is completely free and open to all Jamaicans.

This year’s expo is designed to give the public an up-close look at the modernized and tech-forward direction of the JCF. The event features live tactical demonstrations, cutting-edge policing technologies, and interactive displays that show how the JCF is transforming into a more efficient, accountable, and community-focused organization.

In Kingston and Montego Bay, attendees will experience:

  • 🚓 Tactical displays by elite police units like the St. James Metropolitan Quick Response Team
  • 🛰️ Technology exhibits featuring crime-mapping tools, body-worn cameras, drone surveillance, and digital reporting systems
  • 👮🏽‍♂️ Meet-and-greets with standout officers including Sergeant Ricardo Clarke and ASP Roderick Reid
  • 😂 Special appearances by official Expo ambassador Evy Royal (@evy_royal), bringing his trademark humour and charisma to connect with citizens and youth alike.

According to the JCF, the goal of the Expo is not just to showcase tools and uniforms, but to strengthen public trust, highlight professional excellence, and promote transparency and community partnership in policing.

Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake showcased the transformative ‘Connected Cop’ concept, a cutting-edge initiative designed to modernize and streamline law enforcement operations across Jamaica. The concept envisions every police officer being equipped with technology that delivers real-time data to aid in rapid decision-making and more efficient criminal apprehension.

Attendees will also get a chance to meet standout officers like Sergeant Ricardo Clarke, Sub-Officer in Charge of the Barnett Street Police Station, and Assistant Superintendent Roderick Reid, Zone Two Commander, both of whom exemplify the skill, agility, and leadership driving the JCF forward.

Adding a dose of humour and relatability to the event is none other than popular comedian and content creator Evy Royal (@evy_royal), who joins the expo as an official ambassador.
